Poncha Enacts Watering Schedule Beginning July 6, 2026 In an effort to conserve and protect the Town's water supply as the drought worsens, the Town of Poncha Springs will begin implementing a water scheduled as authorized by Town Ordinance 2016-4. Beginning July 6:
- Properties with odd numbered addresses will be permitted to do outdoor watering on Sunday, Wednesday, and Friday.
- Properties with even numbered addresses will be permitted to do outdoor watering on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.
- No outdoor watering will be allowed on Monday.
- Outdoor watering will not be allowed between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.
The Town respects and appreciates all residents' participation with the schedule which will help reduce the burden on the Town's water supply and system.
